General Scope of Project:
OVC (51%) partnered with Pacific Construction, Wight Architects and Hill Mechanical to perform work for a fixed price design-build, new construction, 65,000 sf. building. Contractually obligated to deliver LEED Rated Silver Building, through innovative design and team efforts, LEED NC 2.2 GOLD Rating was received! Project also included the total demolition of the Laundry Facility, Building 912 on the Recruit Training Command side of the base. A five-year maintenance contract additionally included in contract. The design-build and maintenance contract type is a step toward the future in government contracting, and OVC is proud to be a part of that future. OVC self-performed approx. $2 million in Masonry work and also provided misc. Carpentry/Labor work throughout the project. Overall, OVC self-performed 18% of total work.
